The Virginia Law Foundation mourns the loss of Bernard J. DiMuro (Fellows Class of 1995), who passed away on March 8, 2024.
A skilled trial attorney and litigator, Mr. DiMuro served as managing partner of DiMuroGinsberg, P.C. for more than 30 years and represented clients in areas such as corporate and employment law, personal injury, business torts, and securities fraud. He was a dedicated member of the Virginia State Bar and served as its president from 2002-2003. Within the Bar, he held several committee positions, served on a variety of task forces, and participated as faculty of the Harry L. Carrico Professionalism Course. An engaged leader in the community, Mr. DiMuro was a member and former board member of Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, a former board member of Special Olympics Virginia, and a member of the American Association for Justice, Public Justice Foundation, and Federal Bar Association.
Mr. DiMuro was a dedicated faculty member of Virginia CLE® and a Virginia Law Foundation Fellow, and he was also a fellow of the American Bar Association and Litigation Counsel of America.
